Here's what happens after you order, what to get ready on your side, and how to look after your wendy so it lasts.

The process

Four steps, no surprises

  1. Choose and quote

    Pick a size and extras, then request a quote. In Pretoria, Centurion and Johannesburg a 60% deposit secures your order.

  2. Prepare your site

    Clear 500 mm all round, level and compact the ground, and get bricks on site. Large units need a slab or stilts.

  3. We install

    Our team builds it on your site within 2 to 7 days from order, and removes your old wendy for free.

  4. Seal and enjoy

    Apply A&H Wood Sealant within 3 weeks, then once a year. That keeps your 10-year warranty valid.

Keep your warranty valid

  • Seal with A&H Wood Sealant within 3 weeks of installation, then every year.
  • Treat doors on both sides.
  • Paint the roof with 2 coats of roof seal.

Not covered: cracking and swelling of doors and windows.

Buyer's tips

What to look for in any wendy

Whoever you buy from, these four things make the biggest difference to how long it lasts.

Ring-shank nails

They grip the timber and don't pull out like wire nails.

Corrugated iron roof

Galvanised corrugated iron outlasts fibre cement.

Lift it off the ground

Bricks, a slab or stilts keep the floor off wet ground.

Seal every year

Annual sealing protects the timber and your warranty.
